🐒 Rusty Gets His Own Identity

Rusty Brothers is no longer just the name of two servers.

Little by little, we're building our own small world around them – and of course, none of it would be complete without our main specialist in everything that can possibly go wrong:

Rusty. 🐒

Over the past few days, our monkey veteran has been keeping himself busy. One moment he's planting a bomb on Search & Destroy, the next he's caught in the middle of a firefight on Team Deathmatch, and shortly afterwards he's already posing for another part of our website.

We've gradually started creating our own banners and artwork for the different game modes, giving each one its own atmosphere while making sure they all still clearly belong to Rusty Brothers.

One thing has been especially important to us – keeping the classic Call of Duty 2 style. World War II, period weapons, soldiers and, of course, a little bit of our own monkey chaos. 😄

No modern rifles and no futuristic circus.

Rusty might be capable of many things, but we're not sending him beyond 2005 just yet. 😂

Step by step, we're building a consistent visual identity that we can use across the website, our servers, the Download Center and other parts of the project.

It may seem like a small detail compared to developing the servers themselves, but these little things are what gradually give the whole project its own character.

And if you ever see a monkey wearing a World War II uniform…

…you probably already know where he came from. 🐒

We may be rusty, but we still fight.
