Custom maps and our own modifications are great. At least until a new player joins the server and spends the next few minutes watching files download. 😄

That's why Rusty Brothers moved to its own FastDL.

The result? Required files, maps and our Rusty modifications now download within seconds, letting players get straight into the game.

Along the way, we also encountered a classic CoD2 speciality – one map that decided it wanted to download over and over again. We eventually managed to tame that one too. 😄
