🍌 Banana Nade Arrives

A regular grenade? Everyone can do that. So we decided our TDM needed something a little more… Rusty.

And that's how the Banana Nade was born. 🍌💥

It started as another experiment with kill rewards. The first prototype was heavy, barely flew a few metres and its spectacular explosion did a little less damage than you'd expect from such a monster. So, back to the workshop.

Step by step, we adjusted the throw, explosion and timing. The Banana Nade can be cooked, it can explode in mid-air – and if you hold it for too long, you can of course blow yourself up with it. Which somehow feels very Rusty. 😄

We don't want to turn classic CoD2 into a circus full of killstreaks. But a few custom rewards that players actually have to earn?
